Hotel Muontis is a newly reborn place in the very center of Šilalė. The hotel was built in a place of a popular city restaurant since called „Medvegalis“. Medvėgalis is probably the most famous mound in the Samogitian region. It is called the king of the hills of Samogitia and one of TOP 3 for the most beautiful and photogenic mounds in Lithuania.

Maironis, famous poet, also admired the highest and most prominent hill in Samogitia. According to the poet, as many as 14 church towers can be seen from Medvėgalis. Whether that is really the case and whether it is not the fruit of the writer’s imagination, you will have to come and see it for yourself. Therefore, in the name of the hotel, we encoded the Latin word monte, (Lithuanian: hill), adopted dialectically, thus creating a new unique name and giving meaning to the location and uniqueness of the hotel.

Situated only in the heart of the city, where all placed of interest are within easy walking distance. Hotel is next to the lake , where  are excellent walking trails and outdoor gyms also recreation areas.

The hotel has 22 rooms, accommodating up to 50 guests. Each room includes air conditioning, closet, shower. Some rooms are equipted with kitchenettes. These rooms have all kitchen tableware and utensils. The bathroom has a shower, hairdryer and towels. The hotel has a convenient, fast and secure check-in system. Afer making online reservation client will receive code and will enter the building and your own room, it meand guests will be able to come and go at a time convenient for you!
